Where indicated versions of MbUnit must be noted as requirements have changed between versions 2.3 and 2.4.

System Requirements

• (2.3) NET Framework version 1.0, 1.1, and 2.0
• (2.4) .NET Framework version 1.1, and 2.0      
• Visual Studio 2005
• NUnit for .NET 2.0 (for NUnit compatability tests)
• TortoiseSVN 1.4 or greater
• MSBuild
• (2.4) MSBee
• If building the installer then you will also need NullSoft Scriptable Install System (makensis.exe must be on system path and the MbUnit code must be checked out to c:\source\mbunit\v2 to build the installer), this is an optional step and MbUnit can be built with out the need to compile the installer.

Configuration

• TortoiseSVN
  • SSH is not configured by default in TortoiseSVN. The easiest configuration is to use TortoisePlink, which is included in the TortoiseSV installation.

Workspace Setup

1. Get the source.
   • The URI you will use is this format "https://mb-unit.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/". The use your Google user name and your Google Code Password.
   • NOTE: Your Google Code password is not your Google password. Go to This Page (must be logged in) to get your Google Code Password.

1. 1. Create a folder for the MbUnit project.
   2. Right click any folder and select TortoiseSVN->Repo-Browser.

1. 1. Enter the URI into the dialog.
   2. Enter your Google Code password into the following password prompts.

1. 1. Right click the folder "trunk" and select Checkout....

1. 1. Click the elipsis to select the directory you created on step 1.1.
